great experience

i had a great time at bunkhouse motel during our honeymoon. the owner was super welcoming and the homemade cinnamon rolls were absolutely delicious. my previous stay in guernsey was good, but this visit truly exceeded my expectations.

the playground area could be larger.

Recommend it for comfortable stay

I was really impressed by the cowboy breakfast they served, especially the homemade biscuits and gravy, tasted like my grandma made them. The owner was super cute and even shared fascinating stories about the local area which made our stay feel even more special.

It wasn't exactly a bargain, but for what you get, it's pretty reasonable.

We truly enjoyed our stay as a family with our three grandkids. The kids loved the full cowboy breakfast, including the delicious biscuits and gravy! Exploring Guernsey State Park and learning about the local history with the friendly staff made our stay memorable.

My children wished for a larger playground area.

Had a fantastic time with friends! The breakfast was amazing with options like breakfast burritos and cast iron skillet cinnamon rolls. The common areas had a unique charm. We also enjoyed exploring local attractions easily within walking distance. A truly delightful stay.

The room was comfortable but did face some noise from the road, which was a little distracting at times.

The room at Bunkhouse Motel was cozy and had a cool rustic vibe with Western decor. Super clean with convenient amenities like a mini-fridge and microwave. The bed was comfy, which was a nice surprise. Loved the daily room cleaning too. It had a unique charm that made it feel special. Just wish the noise from the road wasn’t so noticeable at times.
